Theme: Strategies for Balanced Regional Development between Metropolitan Areas and Neighboring Small and Medium-Sized Cities
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Korea’s local autonomy system, the Korea Research Institute for Local Administration (KRILA) and the Shanghai Administrative Institute (SAI) co-hosted the 2025 Korea-China Joint Seminar in Shanghai from April 16 to 18, 2025.
The event aimed to strengthen academic and policy cooperation between Korea and China in the field of local governance, particularly focusing on sustainable and balanced regional development.
